Hesitate Hosts 10% of the 2011 Parade of Homes
The 46th Annual Parade of Homes for 2011 will showcase over 200 new homes for 3 weekends, Oct. 1-2, 7-9 & 14-16. All homes are open free to the public to tour from 12-5 p.m. The Wake County Parade of Homes is one of the largest judged tours in the country!
Houses are judged prior to the first open house weekend based on criteria such as quality workmanship, floor plan and curb appeal. Winners of the gold, silver and bronze are announced on Wednesday, Oct. 13 following an awards gala on Tuesday night. Special design features are also highlighted in parade homes.
Parade tour books are available for free at the HBA office (Limit 1 book per person) beginning on Sep. 28. Or access the Parade of Homes in the palm of your hand with the new Smartphone application. Users will be able to filter and search parade home information by price, builder, community, square feet and location.
